PURPOSE:To prevent nonlinear distortion from being produced in a device output, by providing a distortion generator into an ALC loop, in a microwave transmitter having the ALC (automatic level control) function and the distortion generator in the intermediate frequency band. CONSTITUTION:The ALC loop consists of the distortion wave generator 1 of the intermediate frequency band, the 1st and the 2nd variable attenuators 11, 12, frequency converting mixer, microwave power amplifier 5, directional coupler 6, microwave power detector 7, and a control signal generating circuit 13. The 2nd attenuator 12 compensates the temperature fluctuation of the nonlinear distortion of the microwave transmitter and the 1st attenuator 11 compensates other temperature fluctuation. |
