<p>The wheel hub comprises a reducing gear for the steering axle, an articulated shaft (1, 201) fixed to a homokinetic joint (2, 202) element (13, 213) and a planetary pinion (19, 219) connected kinematically to the articulated shaft (1, 201) ensuring the rotation of satellites (24, 224). These in turn mesh with a toothed ring (30, 230) connected rigidly to a pivoting stub carrier (31, 231). The homokinetic joint (2, 202) element is extended radially by the planetary pinions (19, 219) arranged axially outside the pivot axis (32, 232) of the stub carrier (31, 231), and a satellite carrier element (34, 234) carries the rolling bearing or rolling bearings (23, 33 - 223, 233) of the wheel (27, 227). The invention is used for steering axles of road vehicles.</p> |
