The invention relates to an identity card which is secured against forgery by replacing the photograph present on the card. For this purpose, the photograph is fitted on one part or its entire surface with regularly or irregularly arranged perforations of any desired shape. By the application of pressure and heat, ridges are formed in the perforations from the plastic films surrounding the photograph on both sides, which ridges make subsequent exchange impossible. It is expedient to provide the photograph with a bondable or weldable coating in order to improve the connection between the photograph and the layers of plastic. A further expedient measure is to construct the contour line of the photograph and the plastic film receiving the latter in an undulating shape. <IMAGE> |
