In this device, shaking between the carriage and the respective guide rods which guide the carriage is prevented by special components which are intended to take the form of an intermediate guide rod and a leaf spring arranged on the belt and to be provided with a projection which has elastic contact with the circumferential surface of the guide rod, the resultant force acting on the guide rod pressing against the inner wall of the holes in the carriage or supporting brackets which receive the guide rods and the contact pressure being constantly ensured at two points of the perforated wall.
