PURPOSE:To permit to set a ventilating range into a desired field by a method wherein the fan is provided with a mechanism capable of changing the oscillating range in accordance with the preset positions of two setting knobs. CONSTITUTION:A pivotable reflecting member 7 is attached to a part below a flexible shaft 5 rotated integrally with an oscillating device 4 and the tip end thereof constitutes a reflecting surface 8. A capacitor motor 22 for oscillation is housed in a case 23 while a timer circuit 14 is put ON upon recieving a detecting signal from a detecting circuit 18 and is put OFF after the time, preset by the oscillation stopping time setting switches 12, 13, has elapsed. A stop relay 15 is opened during the operation of the timer circuit 14. Reciprocating motion converting position setting knobs 9, 10 are provided with photo-sensors 24 while the detecting circuit 18 outputs the detecting signal upon receiving beams reflected by the pivotable reflecting member 7 and controls the conversion of the reciprocating motion of the oscillating device 4 through the timer circuit 14 and the converting circuit 16. |
