发明名称 PHASE DETECTING DEVICE FOR INTERFERENCE LIGHT
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a device having excellent detecting sensitivity, by providing an input terminal surface of a bundle optical fiber at the focal point of a converging lens which converges interference light, and constituting the other end surfaces of the optical fiber by means which detects received light for every wheel zone of the input end terminals. CONSTITUTION:An input terminal surfaces of a bundle optical fiber 7 is provided at interference fringes caused by converging lenses 2 (2a-2c). The other ends of the optical fiber 7, which has guided the same interference fringes, are converged together. A plurality of optical fiber bundles L1-L5 are provided. The light guided by each optical fiber is detected by an independent light receiving element. The polarized light beams introduced by optical fibers 6a and 6b for preserving planes of polarization are synthesized by a half mirror 3, and the concentric interference fringes are generated. When the interference fringes are measured by the branched bundles L1-L5 of the optical fiber 7, outputs are generated from the light receiving elements facing the other ends L1, L3, and L5. When the plane of polarization of the optical fiber 6b for preserving the plane of polarization is rotated by the physical variation, the interference fringes at the input terminal surface of the optical fiber is expanded or contacted, and the parts of L2 and L4 become bright. Thus the physical variation at the measuring point can be detected highly accurately.
