PURPOSE:To permit a fan motor to be mounted and removed from the axial direction of fan for thereby facilitating the maintenance and inspection of fan motor, by securing the fan motor, vibration-proof rubber and a fan motor supporting hardware beforehand to a fan motor securing box plate for unitizing. CONSTITUTION:After secured to a fan motor securing box plate 22 by means of a screw 27 together with a vibration-proof rubber 16 and a fan motor supporting hardware 17, a fan motor 8 is inserted into an electric parts accmmodating chamber from the base surface of base plate 13 and then secured by means of a screw 26 to the attaching portion 23 of base plate 13. Therefore, when the fan motor 8 is being inserted into the electric parts accommodating chamber of air conditioner for securing thereto, the screw 27 can be tightened with ease since the fan motor body 8, the vibration-proof rubber 16 and the fan motor supporting hardware 17 are secured by means of the screw 27 on the fan motor securing box plate 22 as a motor unit. Moreover, the motor unit can be shifted in the axial direction of indoor fan from beneath the base plate 13, inserted into the electric parts accommodating chamber and then secured on the base plate 13 by means of the screw 26, which facilitates the mounting of fan motor on the air conditioner. |
