<p>Substituted N-benzenesulfonyloxyphthalimides having substantial cytotoxic activity of long duration and at low concentration are provided as antineoplastic chemotherapeutic agents having a low potential for toxic effect on normal tissue. The compounds have favorable activity as antiviral agents and as inhibitors of ribonucleotide reductase. </p> |
