The isothermal package material is comprised of a sheet (10) of which one face has a high reflectance and of which the other face is self-adhesive, and is also comprised of a foam layer (11) adhered on the self-adhesive face of the sheet (10). The layer (11) is discontinuous so that the self-adhesive face of the sheet (10) appears along a margin (12) and along two bends (13). The package is obtained by wrapping once or several times the sheet (10) about the product to be preserved and the package is closed by pressing the margin (12) and the bends (13) against the corresponding surfaces of the reflecting face of the sheet (10). |
