PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of heat exchanger in a cooling operation mode and to facilitate the drainage of condensation in a heating operation mode, by utilizing the profile varying characteristics of shape memorizing alloy which is attached to the door of drainage body and actuated upon the exposure to a different ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION:Because an ambient temperature is higher than the temperature that causes a shape memorizing alloy 5 to take a different profile in a cooling operation mode, the profile memorizing alloy 5 recovers its coil-like shape and pulls the upper end of a door 4 overcoming the recoiling force of coil 6. Thereby, the door 4 is pressed against a base plate attachment 3 to provide a sealing therebetween. The door 4 can do a slinger-up as a condensation is accumulated in a base plate 1 and raises its level to the drain port 4c of the door 4. Besides, an outdoor side heat exchanger is submerged in the water and therefore can improve its heat exchanging efficiency. In a heating operation mode, the shape memorizing alloy 5 becomes soft and is extended, yielding to the recoiling force of coil 6. As a result, the door 4 has its lower part pulled by the recoiling force of coil 6, and is caused to open, whereby allowing the waste condensation of heat exchanger to pass through the lower portion of drainage and be eventually drained out through a drain outlet 3b. |
