To detect the present individual blood alcohol content, it is proposed to use an electronic computer the main memory of which stores the blood alcohol values in units per mil and the memory content of which is increased, on the one hand, by inputting new blood alcohol quantities and, on the other hand, is automatically reduced by particular per-mil values at particular time intervals. Such a computer can be constructed to be extremely compact due to the simple logic and the low memory capacities, and provides any alcohol consumer with a simple possibility of determining his individual blood alcohol level at any time by simply inputting the quantity of alcohol and his body weight. <IMAGE>
