PURPOSE:A base fabric is coated with a solution containing a polyaminoacid- urethane and a pore-forming agent, the surfaces are dried, coagulated in water to give the titled cloth having both moisture permeating and water-proofing properties. CONSTITUTION:A base fabric made of, e.g., synthetic fiber is coated with a solution containing (A) a polyaminoacid-urethane resin such as a copolymer from polyaminoacid and a polyurethane, (B) 0.1-10wt%, based on the resin of an isocyanate such as 2,4-tolylenediisocyanate, (C) 0.5-10wt% of a pore- forming agent such as an anionic surface active agent, (D) a water-soluble polar solvent such as dimethylformamide and (E) a volatile solvent such as a ketone boiling lower than 140 deg.C. The surface is solidified by drying, dipped in water to open numberless fine pores in the coating films. Thus, a moisture- permeating, water-proofing fabric is obtained.
