Coating composition for building protection, use thereof, and production of a protective coating

A moisture-curing 1-component coating composition for building protection contains from 15 to 40 % by weight of polyurethane-forming isocyanate, from 5 to 25 % by weight of light-resistant, OH-containing tar, from 0.5 to 2 % by weight of antisettling agent, from 15 to 35 % by weight of flaky extender, from 5 to 25 % by weight of colour pigment, from 1 to 5 % by weight of moisture-binding agent, but as the remainder at least 5 % by weight of conventional paint solvent. This coating composition can be applied in a conventional manner to a soil- and dust-free surface in a thickness of at least 20 mu m and it is cured solely through the ingress of moisture from the surrounding atmosphere. The coating composition is suitable in particular for protecting roofs of any kind, for coating concrete and/or for corrosion protection of steel-reinforced concrete.
