A flexible electrical heating or temperature measuring element consists of supply wires which are stranded or harnessed to one another and further wires, the heating conductors or temperature measuring conductors helically surrounding this harness and making contact at points of the supply wires of their conductors which are distributed in the longitudinal direction and are freed of insulation.
