PURPOSE:To enable to clean and reflesh tubes by an operating fluid always flowing through the tubes themselves in a short time, by constituting the flow path of an equipment in a double-flow type and in a double-row construction of unit flow paths, and by distributing the flow in high velocity to every unit of flow path in turn. CONSTITUTION:Sea water is used as a refrigerant. A heat exchanger to cool air in high temperature is composed of a multi-tube bundling 6 of tubes which are arranged in parallel rows, and each flow path is juxtaposed like 61, 62 and so forth. The sea water is flowed twice through each tube, while the hot air is flowed twice around the outside of the tube. When semers in the tubes grow thick in a certain period, the unit flow path 61, for example, can be cleaned in high velocity in a short time, by pushing over a distributing valve 7 for a unit flow path 61 in which refreshment is needed, to the side 62, down to the position of a stop notch 7' at which the speed to be able to take off smears from the flow path is obtainable. The high speed cleaning is also performed to the flow paths 62, 63 and 64 by operation of the valves 7 and 10 in the same manner. |
