Method of producing a pipe bend

The invention relates to a pipe bend, consisting of several bending sections following one another along the pipe axis and straight sections located between the bending sections, in which arrangement the pipe bend with its ends or connections is determined by the bend radius and the bend angle and in addition can have straight ends extending beyond the bend. In order to avoid tool expenditure in the production of the pipe bend and to simplify the production without having to tolerate impairment of the product or its use, it is proposed that all bending sections (1a, 1b) have a bending radius (R) in the same plane, the same bending radius, which is smaller than the bend radius, and the same bending angle, which is a fraction of the bend angle, and that the bend radius be determined by the length of the straight sections (2).
