Gas treatment apparatus for the introduction of gases into core boxes

The universal gas treatment plate consists, according to Figure 1, of a support plate which is fixedly installed. The support plate has a sand stripper at the front. A gas supply line (2) is introduced at the end into the support plate and opens downwards with an opening (5). Two sealing strips (6 or 11) are arranged around the opening (5) such that a vacuum can be produced within the sealing strips. Magnets (10) can furthermore be set into the underside of the support plate. According to the shape of the core box opening (19, Figure 3), corresponding intermediate plates (Figure 2) can be used. The intermediate plate is a plate (15) which is coated (16) on one side and which has a hole (17) in the middle. According to the gas treatment cross-section (19, Figure 3), the rubber coating can be cut away.
