PURPOSE:To provide the titled ink having excellent emulsion stability and pigment dispersion stability, low viscosity, and desirable qualities as a printing ink, by adding a specific amount of a mineral wax (oxide or neutralized oxide) to an oily component, and adjusting the weight ratio of the oil phase component to the water phase component to a specific level. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink is prepared by compounding 100pts.wt. of an oily component constituting an oil phase (e.g. high-boiling petroleum solvent) with 10-50pts.wt. of a mineral wax such as ozocerite, paraffin wax, etc. oxide of mineral wax, or neutralized product thereof with sodium, alkanolamine, etc., and 40-150pts.wt. of an aqueous component, wherein the weight ratio of the water-phase component to the oil-phase component is adjusted to 1.0-0.2. USE:Letterpress printing ink, rubber plate printing ink, flexographic ink, etc. for printing newspaper, book, etc. |
