PURPOSE:To obtain a fixed and stable video output without being affected by a recording place, by recording spirally in the same form, the video signal of a still picture on a magnetic disk. CONSTITUTION:A head holding disk 7 contains eight recording heads 5-1-5-8 which are distributed at 45 deg. intervals on its surface and is revolved at 7.5Hz. When a head 5-1 finishes the scan of a field 1-1, the next head 5-2 scans a field 1-2 to complete the recording of a frame. In a reproduction mode, such a scan is carried out. Thus hereafter heads 5-3, 5-4, 5-5, 5-6, 5-7 and 5-8 can the fields 1-1, 1-2, 1-1, 1-2, 1-1 and 1-2 respectively. In this case, heads 5-1-5-7 are connected to heads 5-2-5-8 in terms of circuit. In such a constitution, a spiral recording format can be drawn on a magnetic disk. As a result, the picture quality has no difference between the outer and inner circumferences of a disk. |
