PURPOSE:To prevent an abnormal output at the restoration to normal power supply voltage by detecting the variation of power supply voltage before the arrival of voltage generating malfunction in a circuit, and then resetting the circuit before malfunction. CONSTITUTION:An RAM (random access memory) consists of n type transistors (TRs) 1, 2 and inverters 3, 4. The output of the RAM is supplied to one end of an NOR circuit 8 through an inverter 5 and a D-type flip-flop 7. A clock is inputted to the other end of the NOR circuit 8. Since the mutual conductance of one TR2 out of the TRs 1, 2 constituting the RAM is set up lower, the variation of the power supply voltage is easily detected. Before the starting of malfunction of the circuit, a reset signal generating circuit 9 generates a reset signal. |
