PURPOSE:To form a video signal for one frame's share of other standard systems, by reading out two lines' share of video signals for one field's share according to a standard system and adding the video signals of two lines' share with a prescribed coefficient respectively for weighting. CONSTITUTION:A composite color video signal for one field's share of the NTSC system picked up and recorded with an electronic still camera 1 is formed. Further, only the field not subject to average interpolation is extracted at a converter 5 from a signal from an auxiliary circuit 34 and a frequency division circuit 37, and a digital signal after A/D-conversion is applied to a memory 44 corresponding to a video signal for one field's share of the NTSC system. Then, the memory 44 is read out sequentially and applied to memories 48, 49 corresponding to the video signal for one line's share and two optionally adjacent line video signals are stored. Further, the signal is read out and multiplied with a prescribed coefficient and the outpt of multiplication is added. Thus, the video signal for one frame's share of the CCIR system is formed from the video signal for one field's share of the NTSC system. |
