PURPOSE:To allocate dynamically a time slot and to improve the transfer ability, by providing a discriminating area representing whether or not the applicable packet area is idle to a storage device having a packet storage area corresponding to each channel. CONSTITUTION:A data transmitter consists of a receiving control section 20, transmission control section 30, a input/output control section 40 and a memory 10, and connected to a transmission line L in a loop. The memory 10 has identifier areas 110-11n for channel number's share and packet buffer areas 120- 12n. The identifier representing the state of a packet buffer area corresponding is stored in the identifier area. A packet includes a monitor packet and a data packet, the monitor packet is an information group representing the utilizing state of the channel and the state of the transmission line. Thus, each time slot is allocated dynamically in matching to a channel in busy state so as to optimize the transfer ability. |
