PURPOSE:To enable uniform fixation, by forming an elastic layer on one or both peripheral surfaces of a pair of rolls and providing means for changing the contact width of a pair of the rolls. CONSTITUTION:A pair of right and left arms 12 are pivotally fitted at one end respectively freely vertically rockingly to a frame 11, and both ends of a pressing roll 2 are pivotally supported by means of bearings 13 in roughly the central part of the arms 12. One end of a lever 14 is pivotally fitted freely vertically rockingly to the frame 11, and an eccentric cam 16 is pivotally fitted freely rockingly to the bottom surface of the lever 14. The cam 16 has three cam crests of radii r1, r2, r3. While the cam crest of r1 is in contact with the lever 14, the lever 14 and the arms 12 rock downward, and a pressing roll 2 parts from a heating roll 1. While the cam crest of r2 is in contact with the lever 14, the lever 14 and the arms 12 rock upward, and the roll 2 is pressed so as to contact with the roll 1 at 6mm. contact width. While the cam crest of r3 is in contact with the lever 14, the roll 2 is strongly pressed to the roll 1 and the contact width is 9mm.. |
