PURPOSE:To enable air conditioning without giving any uncomfortableness to passengers in a device that automatically switches a blowoff port vertically depending upon the degree of opening of an air mix door by computing the degree of opening of the door assuming the atmospheric temperature as the intake air temperature during air conditioning operation with a conpressor in halt. CONSTITUTION:A desired blowoff temperature TO is computed from the output of atmospheric and room temperature sensor 17 and 19 and the output of a room temperature setting device 18 by using an arithmetic circuit 22 and the degree X of opening of an air mix door is determined based on the temperature TO by using an arithmetic circuit 23. An actuator 27 for actuating the air mix door is controlled based on the deviation of the degree of opening X from the output X' of a degree of opening sensor 12 and actuators 30 and 31 for actuating the respective blowoff port doors are controlled according to the mode determined depending upon the degree of opening X. In this case, an arithmetic circuit 33 that is provided to estimate the air temperature TIN at the evaporator exit side computes the air temperature TIN by sucking the atmospheric temperature as the intake air temperature during air conditioning operation with a compressor in halt. |
