VACCINE FOR INFECTIOUS BOVINE RHINOTRACHEITIS A vaccine for infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) is prepared by nonionic detergent extraction of IBR virus infected cells. The extracted viral envelope protein can be prepared in injectable dose form by combination with an oiltype adjuvant. The vaccine produces a high level of antibody response, and incapable of eliminating virus shed for animals infected after immunization.
