PURPOSE:To enable to prevent leakage of gas, by fixing one end portion of a foil-like film member made of a resilient material on the side of a casing, and holding the other end portion of the foil-like film member between a retainer and a pressure receiving and transmitting surface of a holder of a seal member by the aid of an elastic member. CONSTITUTION:An annular foil-like film member 32 made of a resilient material is held betwee a clamping plate 35 and a film holder 33 attached to a casing 24 of a fluid duct 34, and its outer circumferential portion 32B is held between a holder 36 and a retainer 37 by the aid of a spring 38 which applies an urging force to the outer circumferential portion. Further, a pressure receiving plate 39 is attached to the holder 36 and the pressure difference between a high-pressure space 20 and a passage 21 is transmitted uniformly to a sliding contact member 27 of a core 1 via a pressure receiving surface of a width L. With such an arrangement, a proper pressing force can be applied to the sliding contact member according to the conditions of use of a heat exchanger, and sealing effect capable of minimizing leakage can be obtained. Further, deflection of the film member due to uneven thermal expansion can be absorbed by a soft holding means of a spring. |
