PURPOSE:To print characters, symbols, etc. in the desired position of the work without failure, by scanning visible laser light in a printing range according to a program then changing over the laser to laser light for working and irradiating the printing range. CONSTITUTION:When a key on a keyboard 21 is pressed, the angle control signals of variable optical systems 7, 8 are fed according to the program of a control device 12 to pulse motors 7a, 8a. The control signal which stops the transmission of laser light L1 for working is kept supplied to a driver 5 during said time. Therefore the oscillation of a transmitter 6 is stopped, and only the visible laser light L2 under oscillation at all times on the same optical axis is oscillated by movable reflecting mirrors 7, 8 and draws repeatedly the display in a printing range 23 and therefore the printing part of the work 10 is easily determined. When the keyboard 21 is operated to feed an oscillation signal to the driver 5, the mirrors 7, 8 are turned within the range where the laser light L1 is irradiated, and prescribed characters and symbols are printed successively on the work 10 by the laser light L1 deflected by said mirrors. |
