<p>PURPOSE:To omit a switch box and a converter on an electric rolling stock by providing a ground and vehicle information transmitter circuit which transmits a signal for controlling the supply of electric power to a trolley wire electrically insulated at every zone from the vehicle to a substation. CONSTITUTION:When an electric rolling stock is power driven, a power drive command is transmitted through a ground and vehicle information transmitter circuit which is composed of an information transmitter 19, a vehicle antenna 20 and an information transmission line 12 to a substation 14. Thus, the substation 14 energizes so that a trolley wire 10 becomes positive and a trolley wire 11 becomes negative. When the rolling stock is reversely driven, a reverse command is transmitted through the ground and vehicle information transmitter circuit to the substation 14. Thus, the substation 14 energizes so that the trolley wire 10 becomes negative and the trolley wire 11 becomes positive. In this manner, a switch box and a converter which are placed on the vehicle can be omitted.</p> |
