摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the consuming current of cells by a method wherein spark discharge is produced by detecting pulsating light, which is generated by pulsatingly lighting a light emitting diode coupled to the primary side of a blocking oscillator at high frequency, by a light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:The blocking oscillator 6 oscillates at high frequency when a mechanical switch 2 is turned on. When an induced electromotive force is produced by the oscillation in the direction to change a capacitor 9 in a secondary wiring N2, a base current is flowed through a resistor 15 in a transistor 13 by means of the electromotive force in a main wiring N1, resulting in turning the transistor 13 on and causing the light emitting diode 14 to emit light. After that, when the voltage of the main wiring N1 is reversed, the transistor 13 is turned OFF and the light emitting diode 14 is put off. The light emitting diode 14 is pulsatingly lit at high frequency by repeating the above-mentioned procedure. Consequently, the consuming current of the cells can be reduced.
