PURPOSE:To minimize the dissipation of heat from hot water in a hot-water storing tank, by forming a solar heat collecting water passage on the outside of the side wall of the hot-water storing tank covered with a heat-insulating material in the manner of surrounding the entire side portion of the tank. CONSTITUTION:A bottomed cylindrical member 8 is disposed in the manner of embracing the outer side portion and the bottom of a cylindrical tank 2 covered with a heat-insulating material 1. Further, a black paint is applied over the outer surface of the cylindrical member 8 at the portion thereof surrounding the side wall of the tank 2, and a solar heat collecting water passage 9 for flowing water from the bottom toward the upper portion of the tank 2 is formed in contact with the outer side wall of the tank 2 and in the manner of surrounding substantially the entire side wall of the tank 2. |
