PURPOSE:To enable bisurface copying operation and doubly copying operation, by bifurcating and connecting a reversing path including a second intermediate tray between a guide path in a paper refeed section and a copying section. CONSTITUTION:A bifurcating and reversing pass 22 is formed intermediate of a guide path 19 in a paper refeed section 17, and a second bifurcating plate 23 carries out the change-over. The bifurcating and reversing path 22 reverses a copying sheet so that the upper surface of the copying sheet which has faced up in a first intermediate tray 10 is turned into the lower surface thereof, and is then fed. After a predetermined number of copying papers having been copied on one surface thereof being stacked in the first intermediate tray, when a multi-copying button is depressed, a second bifurcating plate 23 closes the conveying path 19 but open the bifurcating and reversing path 22 to feed the copying sheets into the second intermediate tray 25 one by one. Then these copying sheets are fed into a copying section 2 through a reverse return passage 30 and the conveying path 19. Thus, the copying sheet is once reversed in the first intermediate tray 10 and is reversed again in the intermediate tray 25, and therefore, copy may be carried out such that an image may be superposed on the same surface as the first surface. With such a simple structure, it is possible to change a bisurface copying machine into a multi-function copying machine. |
