PURPOSE:To improve the function of a switching network, by collectively controlling information such as traffic state and exchanging state. CONSTITUTION:A packet exchange PS3 executes a fault test periodically and stores the tested result in a fualt testing device 213. An integrated station controlling device DTE20 inputs required data in an information requesting device 210 and sends a CR packet from an information request reception controlling device 200 to an exchange PS1 as a calling request. The exchange PS1 detects the incoming to a station controlling device DTE23 by the CR packet, and connects a transmission line T13 to the exchange PS3 to send the CR packet. Receiving the CR packet, the exchange PS3 detects the incoming to the self-station itself and sends a CR packet for the incoming information to the specified DTE23. Subsequently, the prescribed packet is transmitted/received in accordance with the packet exchanging means and an information reception processor 220 and a fault testing device 213 are directly connected, so that the exchange and processing of the information are executed between both devices in the prescribed controlling method. |
