A chain clasp has a C-shaped arc which in the area of its one gap for introducing chain links has a base body with locating surfaces, and at least one closure for the link introductory gap. The closure has ends overlapping the free arms of the base body. The locating surfaces (15-18) lie in a plane which is tangent to the inner round part of the C-shaped arc, and are limited on both sides by central pieces (13, 14) of the ends of the base body (11). The central pieces have an outer contour the height of which corresponds to the C-shape, and have side surfaces extending on the one hand to the lengthways ends of the base body, and on the other hand into the C-aperture. |
