PURPOSE:To attain a remote conference using documents among many places, by connecting three or more document conference terminals each other through a communication lines and making it possible to retrieve and display the same document picture in respective terminals. CONSTITUTION:When the user of a document conference terminal 120A inputs a retrieval document address from an operator 103, a control part 104 retrieves a corresponding document from a document file part 102, draw out the retrieved document to a refresh memory part 105 and displays the document in a display part 106. Simultaneously, the retrieved information is inputted to an exchange device 200 through a communication line 107A. An intra-multipoint document conference processor 201 receives the retrieval information at a signal transmitting/receiving part and sends the received information to a signal processing part through a signal line. The signal processing part sends the received signal to all signal transmitting/receiving parts excluding the signal transmitting/receiving part from which the signal is received through a signal line. These retrieved information is sent to respective document conference terminals 120B, 120C through respective communication lines. Each terminal takes out the document from the document file and displays a display part 106. |
