<p>The device consists of an elongated body (1) with a distributor tip (4) through which the cable (5) being passed through axially emerges. A cable cutter (17) is guided so that it can be moved along one generating line of the elongated body (1) and is loaded by a spring (24) via sleeves (22, 15). To improve a device of this kind, the sleeve (22) is connected to two flexible, diametrically opposed plates (25) which are each shaped at their ends to form abrasion faces (26) between which the cable (5) runs and closure of which causes stripping of the cable covering. The flexible plates have stop pins (27) on their outside which run in screw-shaped grooves (28) on the inside of the body (1). This causes rotation of the abrasion faces (26), which increases the effect on the cable covering.</p> |
