摘要 PURPOSE:To improve running lane changing performance under emergency avoiding and rapid further large steering operation, by detecting a front wheel steering angle and increasing a same phase rate of steering angle ratio of a rear wheel to a front wheel when the front wheel steering angle generates a large change rate. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of each output signal from a steering angle sensor 12, provided in a steering shaft 10, and from a car speed sensor 14, the target value of a rear wheel steering angle is calculated in an arithmetic device 16, and its output is input to one terminal of a differential amplifier 18. An output signal of a rear wheel steering angle sensor 26 is input to the other terminal of said differential amplifier 18. And a signal, generated in accordance with a deviation of the target value of the rear wheel steering angle from its detected value, controls an oil hydraulic servo valve 28 driving an oil hydraulic cylinder 24 and steering rear wheels 20. Here a change rate of a front wheel steering angle, detected by the steering angle sensor 12, is obtained, and when said change rate is in a large value, the same phase proportion of steering angle ratio of the rear wheels 20 to front wheels 8 is controlled so as to be increased.
