PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of an adjustment device and facilitate adjustment operation by allowing a memory to store sequentially the pattern of drive timing information of each electrostrictive element and accessing the memory sequentially according to the output of an address counter. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle head 1 has four nozzles 2, each of which is provided with two electrostrictive elements 3, 4. To these elements, a drive pulse from each corresponding driver 5 is applied. The driver 5 is connected to the output terminal of a corresponding AND gate 6. Each output from a latch circuit 7 which stores corresponding printing data to the nozzle 2 is entered into each two AND gates 6. An output terminal of a memory 8 which stores the pattern of drive timing information in each address sequentially is connected to the input terminal of each corresponding AND gate 6. Each output terminal of an address counter 9 on a clock generator 10 is connected to the address input terminals A0-A7 of the memory 8. |
