PURPOSE:To intercept vibration produced by the operation of an engine with a liquid by disposing a boat-shaped support on which the engine and a driven machine are mounted on the liquid in a receptacle. CONSTITUTION:An internal-combustion engine 1 and a generator 2 driven by the engine 1 are mounted on a boat-shaped support 3, with the upper surface thereof open, and fixed thereon. The boat-shaped support 3 is dipped in water 5 stored in a receptacle 4, with the upper portion thereof undone, and brought into contact with the base of the receptacle 4 through a buffer 6 comprising a rubber block fixed to the base of the support. When the internal-combustion engine 1 is operated, vibration is remarkably generated, and the vibration is transmitted to the boat-shaped support 3. However, the sides and base of the boat-shaped support 3 are brought into contact with water 5, and hence the vibration of the boat-shaped support 3 is intercepted by water 5, not transmitted to the receptacle 4. |
