PURPOSE:To shorten the investigation time of the cause of abnormality, by connecting a short-circuiting bar at a specific position of the interface of each microcomputer when detecting the abnormality of data transfer between microcomputers. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer A when transferring data on a copy command sends a request signal REQ.O to a microcomputer B. The microcomputer B receives the signal REQ.O and informs the microcomputer A of a data transfer ready state after data transfer is held in readiness. Once receiving the REQ enable signal (REQ.E), the microcomputer A starts the data transfer. An internal interruption takes place in the microcomputer A and B right after the transfer is completed, then data is judged. When abnormality is found in the data and a fault position is switched off, the short-circuit bar 6 is connected. Consequently, the REQ.O of the microcomputer A is connected to the REQ.E of the microcomputer A directly and then a data diagnosis is started. |
