PURPOSE:To manufacture a bearing easily and at a low price by machining orifices and pockets on a sheet-like bearing, forming the sheet bearing into a cylinder and joining the joint portion. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of orifices 7a and pockets 7b coaxially connected to each other are machined on a sheet-like bearing 6 cut to a fixed size in such a manner as to radially pierce the bearing 6 by a drilling press or the like. The above sheet-like bearing 6 is formed into a cylinder by a rolling mill to be worked into a prescribed cylinder, and the joint portion is joined by an electric welding, and then the joint portion 5a is finished by a grinder or the like. The thus constructed cylinder is inserted in a housing 3 to provide a static pressure bearing with an orifice throttle. |
