PURPOSE:To draw smoothly pallets out of the above mentioned rack with an ascending gradient by advancing and retreating a movable frame, a stopper pushing member and a withdrawal fitting with a hydraulic cylinder to perform operations of rack stopping, pallet pushing and withdrawal. CONSTITUTION:After a pallet 40 is mounted on a free roller conveyer 5 under the standby condition of a taking-in and -out unit 3 and then said unit 3 is aligned with a desired housing rack 1, a hydraulic cylinder 9 is extended. Then, a stopper 26 and a frame are advanced and a withdrawal fitting 34 pivots upward to ride over an engaging wall 45 of the pallet 40 so that a pusher 14 pushes the pallet 40. Thus, the pallet 40 advances while pushing a pellet 40a in the rack and bringing down a stopper 6 to engage the stopper 6. When the pallet is taken out, the cylinder 9 is extended and the stopper 6 is brought down by a stopper pushing member 26 while the withdrawal fitting 34 is stopped in the wall of the pallet 40. The pallet 40 can be securely drawn out by contracting said cylinder 9. |
