PURPOSE:To reduce a virtual number of a display LED by switching a luminous color of a display element having two or more luminous colors whose colors are different, and to inform an operator of contents to be displayed, by switching the luminous color. CONSTITUTION:Only one LED 19 for executing simultaneously an A/B surface display and an in-use display is provided on the front panel 8 of a driving device 7. As for this LED 19, two LEDs 19-1, 19-2 whose luminous colors are different are contained in one package, are regarded as one LED virtually. When a driving device selecting signal A for indicating that the driving device 7 is being used, or an in-use signal B is inputted, an LED driving circuit 20-1 and an LED driving circuit 20-2 are operated in case when the B surface of a disk is installed, and in other case, respectively, by operations of an invertor 22 and an AND gate 21, the LED 19-1 or the LED 19-2 is lighted. For instance, when the luminous color of the LED 19-1 and the luminous color of the LED 19-2 are made red and blue, respectively, the display LED 19 is lighted in blue and red, when the A surface of the disk is used and when the B surface is used, respectively. |
