In order to regulate a heating installation 11, for example a coal-fired boiler, the customary valve 24 for adjusting the inlet of air is actuated by a diaphragm box 22 filled with an expandable fluid and which is connected to the corresponding temperature detector 20 by a capillary tube 21. Similarly, a hydraulic chamber 28 is connected to the above system by a capillary tube 29, it being possible for the volume in this chamber to be modified by the action of an adjusting screw 31, which enables the operating intensity of the boiler to be adjusted by hand. <IMAGE>
