An accessory device is attached to a ski (1) between the front jaw member (2) and the heel retainer (3) of a downhill binding. This device consists of a baseplate (6) which is fixedly mounted on the ski (1) and onto which a toe-binding part (11) can be pushed. Conventional downhill ski boots of a certain size have a length (B) which is a few centimetres greater than the length (A) of cross-country ski boots of the same size. For downhill use, the user removes the toe-binding part (11), which is locked by means of a hook (10), and also changes his footwear accordingly. <IMAGE> |
