PURPOSE:To enable the exact detection of the solid sticking of a sensor without erroneous detection, by comparing the previous output inversion interval and the present inversion interval. CONSTITUTION:The present output inversion interval T' and the value obtd. by multiplying the previous output inversion interval T'' by a prescribed value beta are compared in a step 20, and if T'<T''Xbeta, whether the next inversion time T is larger than the prescribed alpha-fold value of the time T'' or not is discriminated. If T>T''Xalpha is discriminated in the step 21, a feedback control of O2 is stopped in a step 24 and when T<=T''Xalpha is discriminated, the feedback control of O2 is accomplished in a step 23. When the intervals are discriminated to be not at T'<T''Xbeta in the step 20, the inversion times T and T'Xalpha are compared and discriminated and if T>T'Xalpha, the feedback control of O2 is stopped in a step 24. |
