The invention relates to a process for laminating surfaces of polyolefin parts with textile material. Polyolefins, especially the group of polypropylenes, are suitable as construction material, especially for car body construction or car body fittings. A disadvantage is that the polyolefin surfaces are not adhesive and cannot bond to adhesives as intermediate carriers, which in turn form the bond to the lamination material. The aim of the invention is therefore to provide a process that permits lamination of the surfaces of polyolefin parts with textile materials. It is provided to support the polyolefin moulding on a moulding carrier part corresponding to it and thermally plastify the polyolefin part. Upon completion of the plastifying, the textile carrying part, to which a textile section is detachably adhered, is guided under pressure over the moulding carrying part with the supported moulding. The pressure is maintained until - with simultaneous bonding of the textile section in the surface of the moulding - the self-stabilisation of the moulding is restored by cooling. The two carrying parts can then be lifted apart and the laminated moulding removed. <IMAGE>
