<p>PURPOSE:To detect exactly a jump point, by detecting from a pilot signal a fact that a reproducing head jumps a video track, in case of reproducing a magnetic tape in which the pilot signal is multi-recorded in each video track. CONSTITUTION:In a VTR, an FM-modulated luminance signal, a low band-converted chroma signal and a pilot signal are mixed and are recorded on a magnetic tape. A reproducing pilot signal led to an input terminal 10 is led to a frequency converter 12, and is subjected to frequency conversion with respect to pilot signals f1-f4 from a pilot signal generating circuit 8. It is switched to each channel in a selecting circuit 18 by a pulse synchronizing with switching of a head from an input terminal 11. Difference frequency of the reproducing pilot signal and a carrier signal among outputs of the converter 12 is provided to a differential amplifier 15 through tank circuits 13, 14 having tank frequencies fH, f3H, and by making an output of the amplifier 15 pass through a limiter 16, a signal for indicating a track jump point can be obtained in a terminal 17.</p> |
