Structural element for erecting dry masonry

The invention relates to a structural element which serves to erect dry masonry. In known structural elements of this type there is no mutual keying, so that the erected dry wall can at least partly give way to the pressure of the earth piled up behind the wall. The invention specifies a structural element which not only prevents displacement of the erected dry wall by the earth pressure but also enables an aesthetically pleasing structure to be established. This is achieved by the structural element being formed as a regular polygon with an even number of sides and being provided with recesses at every second side of the polygon. <IMAGE>
