A flexible, waterproof and fireproof flat composite material, which comprises a base layer (1), which is produced by mixing inorganic fibres, organic fibres and synthetic resins with stirring and subsequent shaping of the mixture into a flat sheet-like structure as well as drying, layers (2), which are formed by coating the base layer (1) on both sides with a paste obtained by adding synthetic resins to pulverised mineral materials and a top layer (3), which is formed by applying coarse particles to the surface of the upper layer (2). The flat composite material is suitable as a roofing material and as a material for cladding facades and the like. <IMAGE>
