Analytical element

摘要

An element for the analytical determination of a specific component in a liquid sample is described and has successive essential layers in the form of a receptor layer and of a distributor layer on a support. An element of this type contains an electron-transfer agent, a colour former precursor, a coenzyme of the oxidation type and a reagent which is capable of converting the coenzyme of the oxidation type into a coenzyme of the reduction type by means of the specific component. This takes the form of a stable analytical dry system element with which a simple analytical determination of a specific component in a liquid biological sample is possible with high accuracy of detection using a coenzyme of the reduction type.
